Tulisan berikut ini juga menunjukkan modus operandi serupa sehingga sekaligus dapat dijadikan pembuktian, khususnya kepada umat Kristen bahwa tidak ada sedikitpun yang dapat dijadikan alasan untuk meragukan Firman Allah berikut ini: 

"Apakah kamu masih mengharapkan mereka (Bani Israel) akan percaya kepadamu, padahal segolongan dari mereka mendengar Firman Allah, lalu mereka mengubahnya setelah mereka memahaminya, sedang mereka mengetahui?” (QS. Al-Baqarah[2]:75)

(KJV) And Absalom made Amasa captain of the host instead of Joab: which Amasa was a man’s son, whose name was Ithra an Israelite, that went in to Abigail the daughter of Nahash, sister to Zeruiah Joab’s mother.

(CEV) Absalom put Amasa in Joab’s place as commander of the army. Amasa’s father was Ithra from the family of Ishmael, and his mother was Abigal, the daughter of Nahash and the sister of Joab’s mother Zeruiah.

(ESV) Now Absalom had set Amasa over the army instead of Joab. Amasa was the son of a man named Ithra the Ishmaelite, who had married Abigal the daughter of Nahash, sister of Zeruiah, Joab’s mother.

(GNB) (Absalom had put Amasa in command of the army in the place of Joab. Amasa was the son of Jether the Ishmaelite; his mother was Abigail, the daughter of Nahash and the sister of Joab’s mother Zeruiah.)

(BIS) (Absalom telah mengangkat Amasa menjadi kepala pasukan menggantikan Yoab. Amasa anak Yitra orang Ismael; ibunya bernama Abigail anak Nahas, yakni saudara perempuan Zeruya ibu Yoab.)

(TB) Absalom telah mengangkat Amasa menggantikan Yoab untuk mengepalai tentara. Amasa adalah anak seorang yang bernama Yitra, seorang Ismael, yang telah memperisteri Abigal binti Nahas, saudara perempuan Zeruya ibu Yoab.

(KJV) I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

(BIS) Gad datang menghadap dan memberitahukan kepadanya perintah TUHAN itu, katanya, “Mana yang Baginda pilih: Negeri ini ditimpa bencana kelaparan selama tiga tahun, atau Baginda lari dikejar-kejar musuh selama tiga bulan, atau negeri ini diserang wabah penyakit selama tiga hari? Putuskanlah sekarang apa yang harus kusampaikan kepada TUHAN.”

“8 tahun” diedit menjadi “18 tahun”

(KJV) Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

(CEV) Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king of Judah, and he ruled only three months and ten days from Jerusalem. Jehoiachin also disobeyed the LORD by doing evil.

(ESV) Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD.

(GNB) Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king of Judah, and he ruled in Jerusalem for three months and ten days. He too sinned against the LORD.

(BIS) Yoyakhin berumur 18 tahun ketika ia menjadi raja Yehuda, dan ia memerintah di Yerusalem 3 bulan 10 hari lamanya. Ia juga berdosa kepada TUHAN.

(KJV) And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots.

(ESV) And David took from him 1,700 horsemen, and 20,000 foot soldiers. And David hamstrung all the chariot horses but left enough for 100 chariots.

(GNB) David captured seventeen hundred of his cavalry and twenty thousand of his foot soldiers. He kept enough horses for a hundred chariots and crippled all the rest.

(BIS) Daud menawan 1.700 orang tentara berkuda dan 20.000 orang tentara berjalan kaki. Ia melumpuhkan semua kuda, kecuali sebagian, cukup untuk seratus kereta perang.
