World Muslim Population By Country Saturday, May 1, 2010

Did you know that there are at least 6,8 billion people living on earth these days, and about 1,6 billion of them, or 24,1% of the total earth's population, are identified as Muslims? Did you also know that 200 million people, or 12,5% of this total Muslim population on earth, are Indonesian?

Indonesia is, in fact, the largest Muslim population country in the world. It is the home of nearly 7 times as much as total Muslims living in Saudi Arabia - where the noble teachings of Islam itself started about 1.400 years ago.
